Meditoxin is botulinum A developed by Medy-Tox Korea Limited that approved by KDA on 2004 which had been proved a better effect than Botox .

The most common complications following injection include bruising at the injection site, mild headache, dry eye, drooping eyelids and uneven look of skin. Most of these results are temporary, undesired effects will fade and then disappear over time.

Adverse effects are higher when treating medical ailments, a combination of the higher doses administered and higher risk factors associated with the specific illness being treated. Rarely, it can cause spread beyond the site of injection. If it travels to the respiratory muscles, respiratory paralysis can occur.
